ways to increase MPG

    But the radiator is used in cooling the engine, not for providing cool air. While you might want hot air into the engine for improved mpg, you wouldn't want to overheat the engine components due to insufficient cooling.

    It shouldn't. Exhaust and CAIs improve airflow which means you can burn more gas (more power but not better mpg).

    The ability of the engine to breath more freely should reduce drag (to the engine), hence more MPG right?

    White Head Light mod, White shorty antennae, Doug Thorley Long Tube headers, AFE Drop in air filter, Secondary Air Filter Removed,
    as i posted before, my mechanic at work did everything possible to improve MPG on his little saturn. He blocked the grill to let in just enough air to keep it from over heating in addition to removing all the seats (besides the drivers), consoles, carpet, door panels, etc.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Only under WOT conditions. When under part throttle, the major pumping loos on the engine is the throttle butterfly being mostly closed.

    Pump your tires up to the max, and then cheat a hair more. believe it or not it makes a diff. 1-2 mpg's You lose a little in control value though.
