Nice. I saw another voodoo on the road today. Still think that color is so cool. There aren't many around.

Looks great bud, wish you had asked before spending the cash, the lifetime "warranty" is a scam, no coating will last much longer than 2-3 years same with certain companies (CP) claiming the more layers of 9H you add the more protected it is, after 2 layers its pointless. Have done a few trucks myself and by pro's in Cquartz, Ceramic Pro, Gtechniq. Make sure you get a good PH balanced soap and an SiO2 to boost the hydrophobics. Here's a cool video that shows exactly why no coatings are "lifetime". Loving the blue!

That new blue color is so insane. Every time I see one on the road it looks like it was photo shopped into real life and they didn’t do a good job matching the lighting with the surrounding reality... basically it “pops”. Nice

    I agree.
Any reputable company will tell you coatings are not lifetime.

but if OP got the lifetime warranty and the company holds up their end, I’d say OP made out just fine.

Ya, I’ve read about (and have been told) that anything over two coats isn’t really worth it so I went and talked to the guy. He’s got a nice clean operation and seems to be really into it. He seemed borderline OCD about clean cars so I could relate to that! He’s working in an old oil change building that he’s got cleaned up like an operating room. It’s all painted bright white with all the special lighting and heat lamps. He even uses the grease pits for applying the coating to the inside of the rims. He impressed me enough to give him the business even though it’s an exorbitant amount of money. I definitely didn’t make the decision easily.
When you purchase the lifetime package it goes on carfax (which really doesn’t have any value to me) but then you bring it back every year for a reapplication. The cost of that is $150 but that includes a full detailing inside and out.
I splurged big time so don’t tell my wife!

Sounds like you went with Ceramic Pro, it shows up on CarFax for Silver or 5 year too, didn't have to get the lifetime for it. I had it on my 19 and dealer gave 2 sh*ts about it when I went to trade it in, so there's that. But sounds like you did your homework on the installer which is what really matters. Looks good.

Look awesome. I to took a lifetime plan from simonize for their interior, and exterior ceramic glass coat treatment back in march. So far i'm impressed, i wish it was available on my gen1 tundra.

Dealer assured me the truck would increase its resale value. I was able to talk with a couple that have the simonize plan for years, saying it pays for itself in the long run. I really don't like washing or waxing the truck....so far it still looks great after sitting 24/7 outside. It gets dirty from the wet dirt roads i live off...i just wait for the next rain storm. Even all the baked on bird poop wipes off easy.

It doesnt my dude, however a coating will help maintain your paint and that will help resale along with ease of maintenance which you alluded to.
