We drove the length of NH, from Canada to the seacoast, and it was AWESOME!

Had to look it up. So, an NH VI can have gates, such as to block off farms and such. I think. BUT they cannot be locked, and whoever goes through has to close it behind them.

Haven't a clue about Vermont. But, today I learned that you can go right through the NH gates....I've always turned back. WOO!

Well this is @BadDNA run so I was just letting him know I put a route together, whether or not he wants to use it will be up to him.
I was doing it manly to compare to his and see if he could use any of mine.
However if people are interested in doing my route I'd be happy to do it.

If any tracks are putting you on power lines use caution they might have gates, not sure if you can access but the atlas says it's a legal road.
I avoided all of these I came across on my route.

My experience has been named roads along power lines are accessible, but not sure that is rule out that will keep you out of trouble.

That's what I was expecting but when I did Google Street view in a couple spots it was gated which made no sense to me considering the Delorme Map says it's a public road.

I found an app called Wanderlost Project which is pretty awesome so far. I've got the route pretty well laid out and now I have to get to drive parts of it.

One section was a real nasty muddy hill climb on a legal trail. Didn’t look bad until we got into it and sunk through. Slowed us up for a little bit. The other roads were fairly easy but definitely not just dirt roads.

I’ve VT class VI roads are solid.

    bring a chainsaw

technically people can’t block these trails but I’ve come across 2 (presumed) homeowner made road obstructions
