That’s next on the list before the big trip out west. I should be able to get it home without the trailer brakes.

Wasn’t thinking I would be pulling a trailer when I bought the Tacoma. Wanted it for off Roading but we love to camp too. My husband was nudging me get a Tundra when I was looking at the Tacoma and I was like that’s too big for the trails we do!!

We are getting the one at the dealership as they are giving it to us for free. It’s an e-something or other rated for 8000 lbs. they will install it for free too.

Did anyone advise you to get the KD Max Pro + tune first? It will help make your trip more enjoyable.

Great. Let us know how you get along with ECT and Sport mode with your tune.

OK, got it weighed at BP. Also did the tow calculator - in which I got a danger message but it didn't fit in the screen shot. But it was red and said Danger. Here are pics of both.

Your curb weight seems wonky. Why is your front end so heavy?

Maybe I didn't park correctly on the scale? Here is my bumper. I have skid plates on too.

A bare bones stock double cab should have a curb of ~4400. Your truck is built, but I'd be surprised if she has 1300 pounds of fat already.
