We keep our Tacoma's longer than owners of other brands

Pretty cool article about length of ownership. We average 7.8 years of ownership, the only trucks that are kept longer on average are HD trucks.

That’s probably driven mostly by cost. Most people can’t afford a new truck. Even Tacoma competes with Full size prices and we have enough people on here complaining about a $40k price tag.

 

F150s are trash. Have 6 at work and they all have problems with less than 6k km on them. Good power when they run, roomy, and that's about it.

 

Next he's going to ask why they don't rank the McDouble as the best cheeseburger in the US even though its the #1 most sold

 

7 or 8 years is generally how long I keep my trucks too.

 

The number are so close it really doesn't mean much, of the eight listed there is only 6 months between #1 and #8. My Toyota before my Gen 3 was an 84. That means something!
