Decided to go to gym late today. Was driving and there is an insane amount of lighting but no rain or thunder at all. Very weird. I’m sure it happens here all the time but I’m usually playing Xbox at this time of night since I don’t partake In the typical late night not so legal shenanigans that most of my friends do.

Doubled down on ITRM beginning of the week when it tanked and it's up 19% last 2 days. I'll take it. Soon as I break even I'm out of there

I will say, it is extremely nice to escape political discussion and the most hot button topic we discuss is whether or not the hood scoop is better. I actually got a ban once for sarcastically bringing up a politician in a thread that was entirely meant to be funny and realized they aren't messing around.

Noooo, I’m joking. I didn’t ban anyone. He was banned for mentioning trading activity by a person serving in an elected position. It said nothing of the way they perform their duties in a left or right leaning way. Simply an observation that sometimes these people, with inside knowledge of certain things because of their positions, make interesting stock trades at interesting times. I continue to make jokes about it because I think it is a joke, and having him banned as a GME catalyst is a more worthy ban than what has actually occurred here.

Smh. Place has turned into a dump of bans. Exhausting. Who cares if you're left or right. They're both friggin terrible to begin with.

Jobs report is mixed...The total number of claims missed, up...But the number overall went down by 1.5M as states removed the covid incentive...

I’m a member of a fishing/boating forum that previously allowed political commentary and discussions but confined it to a specific area. I used to read it as entertainment, and just to see what the different thoughts and opinions were, but it had gradually gotten absolutely terrible starting about 18+ months ago. People that were otherwise perfectly reasonable to deal with, including vendors, would go in there and just savage each other, all day long. It got pretty disgusting. Reflected really poorly on the overall forum. I stopped looking at the threads, and a few months later the site removed that section and banned political discussion altogether. Fantastic decision.

I promise you that TW’s ban on political discussion is a great thing, and I also promise you that if it was allowed, things on this site would spiral downward within a month, and seriously detract from what’s great here. It’s a time when politics is so incredibly polarizing, particularly in the US, that conversations are almost guaranteed to get heated and lead to personal attacks. Which is unhealthy for a site that strives to be a welcoming community for Taco owners of all stripes.

    It is. There's Tacoma's, and then there's Tacoma's with a hood scoop.
    They're better.

    What's the stock dujour today?
I'll chime in when I see a good one.
