hey guys.. i have a 2000 2.7 auto. i just got the eibachs and bilsteins. i just put procomp rims and 265-70-17 bfg a/t's they are right at 32's i believe and fill the fenderwell enough for my liking. they are at least an inch taller than my previous tires. i can tell a difference in top end power. i was going to go with 285's but i honestly dont think my truck would pull them. i know the automatic kills some of the power but i would have to regear for 33's?? What do yall think??

Yes it would be best to regear when running 33s with that engine.

Even the 2ng gen four banger, which is more powerful, is affected by the bigger heavier tires.

Also, since you have an automatic, you'll want to do whatever's required to calibrate the speedo correctly for the tires and gears, so that the auto shift points aren't going on "perceived speed" instead of "actual speed." That would exacerbate the problem.

glad u made this thread cuz i was also wondering if 265/75r16's were the biggest i could go on my 4 banger. 5th gear is pretty damn weak with the 245/75's that are on it now so i cant imagine it doing well with any bigger than a 265/75.
