Weak Qi charger

Charger blows. I took the whole thing apart and just use it to charge my tiny little iPod and even then it takes forever.

 

Works great for me with low profile case. Must be in the driver side rear corner of the tray to work. GS6 if it matters. As always, the fast micro usb charger is much faster though.

 

Honesty, I think it's a matter of physics. Are you guys able to wirelessly charge elsewhere successfully?

 

Seems like the whole setup is missing a clamp to keep your particular phone in place with all the various models and cases out there. Really defeats the point if you hit the slightest bump and the phone shifts slight enough to not align with the coils. Otherwise it worked ok with my S6 in an Otterbox defender case even though I read that this case wouldn't work with wireless chargers. It's irrelevant now since I use the Hondo perfect squeeze mount.

 

This is an issue on my brand new 2018, iphone X with a low profile case. The QI charging light on the pad is illuminated, but either it's not charging or not keeping up with demand (streaming music). The QI pad in my living room has no issues.
