2019 PRO. Anyone experience this? Was just looking around and happened to notice this. It was just in a few weeks ago for the 20k mile service.

First pic is rear passenger side. Second pic is the rear driver side.

Most likely they won't even look at it to give you a answer on the 20k service. You will need to make an appointment specifically for the leaking shock under warranty. Not sure if it is covered or even if it is, get ready for the bs to fly:crapstorm:

They didn’t even mention it. The truck was already in. I’m sure I’ll have to make an appointment. It’s still under warranty, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I wonder if the dealer can service the reservoir, replace the gasket or do I have to wait for a new assembly. Ugh. Just what I need.

This could be the first post for a leaky fox shock though. Guess I’ll drop it off this week.

UPDATE: Dealer said Toyota won’t replace the whole assembly unless it has a visible drip. Total bs but the fact that it was noted at 18k miles and in the system, the service manager said if it started to leak while I’m out of warranty it would be covered. So I guess we’re out of luck unless it starts really leaking. They don’t repair these at all, don’t replace seals, probably send them back to FOX to be rebuilt. Weird.

I had a strut on my car just weep some back in the early 2000 or so, not bad but just so i though it would die after the warranty ran out .......SO.......a few months later
i just put some gear oils on the rod and added some dust / drove it for a week and low and behold Dodge replaced it no more question asked....i didn't lie, i just helped it along.

    :anonymous:
BUT i am not telling you to do this (wink, wink) If its bad ,its bad.
