Greetings everyone. I have recently purchased a pair of stock fog lamps for my 2012 Tacoma. I noticed the jerks in Texas did not include the necessary connectors in the factory wiring harness!
Making my own circuit for them is not going to be a problem at all, but I can not seem to find the right size weather pack connector to plug into the fog lamps themselves! I found on that came real close, but no cigar. Does anyone have any information on the part number I would need to buy to fit the stock fog lamps?
Information about wiring that I found here has been valuable. I just need the plugs and I can get started!

    Thanks

Should be a H11 plug. I used a set off of eBay to make custom a custom harness for my 2012.

The good news is that just about any half decent auto parts store will have the connectors you're looking for. As stated above, h11 for the later model tacos, h10 for the older ones. The only place I could locate the female version of the plug was online (Amazon).

Thank you both. I went to an AutoZone and they had something CLOSE, but doing a wuick search, the H11 is definitely the one. I will get them ordered, along with a new plug for the back of the switch as I do not want to cut into the factory harness.
I was amazed when Toyota SHOWED me that there are two different engine compartment wiring harnesses, one with fog lights and one without. I want to run it independent from the main light switch anyway so that is fine.

I owe you both a beer.

Thanks to you I was able to find these:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004IA3YQK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They are probably WAY overkill, but worth it. I also got the plug from Toyota that plugs to the back of the stock switch. I did not want to butcher the wiring in the dash so I am going to let the stock wires alone and run a new circut from the dash forward. I want to be able to have anytime fog lights.

We will have to see how it goes. I guess I should post this when I am done!

    Thanks again.
