    On my Prinsu, the spacing was just in the regular/small cross bar slots and then I used the Prinsu Universal Mount for my Maxtrax.

    @Dropshot39 Note that the Prinsu Maxtrax mounts only work if you have your bars in the default locations as @shaggy135 mentions. I have two of mine in the adjustable locations to accommodate some bike mounts. I wish the Prinsu ones had some adjustability to them. There is another brand that does but I can't find it right now, but the price is a bit more.

    I still throw mine in the back of the truck and I am not a fan of doing that, but my only option right now outside of using tie down points. Also not a fan of that!
