    Grey, to match carpet?
    Or a bolder color choice:
    Tan to match plastic?

Lunar Mist interior is "charcoal," which normal people call gray. So, I would go with what matches my original interior. Tan and gray don't compliment each other. Why do you have tan interior bits?

Maybe someone misidentified the color? I’m new to Tacoma’s and someone called this color “Lunar Mist.”

That's your exterior color. Not your interior.

    Interior 01-04 color:
    - charcoal
    - oak

I'll go with oak if your interior trim is oak.

If you have tan interior pieces, then a previous owner replaced the original ones with the wrong color. Like @02hilux said, Lunar Mist (metallic silver) paint came with charcoal (light gray) interior.

It may be semantics. When I hear charcoal, I think dark grey.

I don’t have many interior photos, but you can see from my shifter pic that I sent my buddy on my drive home that the car has light grey carpet and some tannish grey plastic around the cigarette lighters.... maybenthats what charcoal is.

This is a fairly unmolested truck. I don’t think any major interior changes happened. Rural Northeast isn’t really a mod happy culture like the cities and Midwest / West are, IMO.

At any rate, I see a lot of “tan” to the plastic dash but I’m hearing a consensus for grey WeatherTechs.

Which ever color you prefer will work. Both serve the same purpose

Another option is Husky. I have their molded style and they work and fit great. A lot cheaper too. I got the front and rear.

I think most people think dark gray. Just a poor name choice by Toyota. I'd go with the gray liners.

I think for some reason I like the tan. They’re expensive and I want them to pop and brighten the Cab. Grey would be much more chill and probably show dirt a lot less.

The car was well detailed before I got it, and I’d like to keep it sort of nice. I usually treat my cars cosmetics and cleanliness pretty poorly.

If you don’t want it to show dirt I would say stick to carpet style. These hard plastic style will show a lot of dirt no matter what color you get.

I’m more about catching it than hiding it. I’m lazy with the vacuum but don’t mind shaking out and hosing down.

Wait... when did WeatherTech start making the laser molded mats for the 2001-2004 double cab tacoma? I have the Husky liners only because WeatherTech did make molded mats for the original 4 door double cab. Has this changed, do they now offer them?

Black color to give good contrast otherwise it'll look odd

So wait, is there a difference in the 2003 V6 Double Cab vs the 2004 V6 Double Cab. I only ask because I have a 2003 V6 DC and I assumed the '03-'04 were identical.
