Haven’t had that issue but don’t have them on the current truck. When I did have them on my last Tacoma I liked them but when I decided I wanted to take them off for better visibility I realized they had ruined the seal pretty quick (noise and air leaking in from every window without them) so I put them back.

Thank you for these tips, TRDCLMB!
Just installed one, and had same issue... Will try out these suggestions.

I had them on all my Tacos over the years and never had issues. This new Taco I installed myself AVS low profile in the channel and no issues yet and it has been 6 months and gone through touch less carwash 5 times.

Mine are the least noisy aftermarket thing I’ve put on now after redoing them like the email stated. I’ve since bought the sound deadening materials and they’re sitting in the closet until I can hideaway from people long enough to gut the inside of my truck

Oh man, forgot to update. Those tips worked great! No issues, windows auto-roll function working smooth now. Thanks again!

Had the exact same problem with WT deflectors on my Forester and had to just give up and return them.

That's unfortunate because on the Forester and Tacos both so much water leaks in the front windows -- it's like they never thought someone might drive with the window cracked during a light rain or something...?
