Weathertech Floor Liners

Thanks for all the great pictures showing how the different colors look. They convinced me to order (on-line) the black Weathertechs, front & rear, for my 2010 DC. Like others, I really like the contrast with the gray interior, and they should go well with the Magnetic Gray paint. Btw, I'm getting them for $167.36 delivered from svcustoms.com using a weathertech coupon that they offer. Oh, and if it's not okay to mention other websites, someone please let me know, as I'm not sure.

 

Merry Christmas all you tacos out there...After reading all the reviews, got a new set yesterday. Driver's side--perfect fit, so much better than carpet. Got the gray...red clay shows up on black more harder to clean--had two tone rubber black and gray before looked great but not a good custom fit esp with Taco mat issues now. I have an issue with the passenger side. There is a bolt in the side wall trim on the floor. It interferes with the mat. When you press it down into the floor it hangs under the bolt and causes stress and distorts the mat. It causes a gap near the door sill and interior trim. Unacceptable! There is a small indent on the mat the shape of the bolt...do you loosen and place under or cut out?? I have contacted the manufacturer...molded custom should not have to be trimmed! Anyone else have that problem with 09 DB Cab?

 

ok so from reading this thread, other threads, and from having a set of huskys in the back of my 08 access cab, i understand that weathertechs offer a "more custom fit" and since they are rubber are not slippery. A plus side of the huskys for a manual seems to be that no trimming is needed but correct me if I'm wrong. Also I've heard of the weathertechs leaking through the holes for the hooks... Sounds like plenty of people are happy with the weathertechs so I guess i could just be playing devils advocate here....

So what I was thinking is what if I got the huskys and sprayed them with the duplicolor bedliner? Would this prevent them from being slippery? Any thoughts?

 

Love my weathertechs.......I've had them for about a year and the things are just about indestructible. Still holding up incredibly well.

These things sure aren't cheap. I have checked AutoAnything, Cabela's, Weathertech, and Tacoma Parts Store. They all seem to have the same price shipped. Any good deals out there or local shops in SoCal?

 

just got my weathertechs in. Got the front and back digital fit in gray. Turns out they sent me the wrong passenger mat because my truck has the two clips and the mat didnt. I called them up explained it and she said she would have the correct passenger mat sent out and i dont have to send the wrong one back to them. At least so far, good experience dealing with Weathertech.

I've had my black weathertechs (front and rear) ever since I got my truck in Nov. I can't say how much these liners have saved the carpet from water, salt, and dirt in the winter. They were money well spent and they fit perfectly. Even though no one hardly ever sits in the back, it is better to be safe and get them.

Plus, I really like the black v. gray contrast (even though black shows everything)

I just give it a good cleaning when I can't tolerate it anymore and I'm good to go. Enjoy.

 

I've never had them be slippery. My folks have the Weather Techs in their Murano, and I have the Huskies in my Taco. The WeatherTechs look nicer, but the Huskies can hold more liquid and don't have holes in the middle of them.

 

I have a manuel and had to trim. They fit well, but the hole for the hooks didn't line up. I just figured it was another aftermarket oversight, but after reading this thread I guess I should have sent them back.

 

Today was the first snow with the floor liners. They are two thumbs up.

 

Just put mine in tonight, they fit great, now to put them through the tests.

 

Expensive, but tough and keep the carpet in good shape... They have a great ad in AW magazine every month. Could just marketing, but if they truly have that type of philosphy.. reason enough to buy.

 

I have a 2006 Access cab and got the WT in gray, Black or Gray both look good with they gray interior. I felt the same color as the other plastic looked better. I could not find them (front and back set) much cheaper then $167. I did not have to trim anything. One suggestion is to leave them out in the hot sun (in the summer) and they fit better.

 

Weathertech has them about $10 cheaper (due to free shipping) if you buy them on ebay instead of their website. Got mine ordered today. My fabric ones are going in the trash when the weathertechs get here.

Quick question, do the weathertech's really hold up in winter? What I mean by that is when you track in snow it melts and adds up over time.. how do the matts hold up against all the water? Right now I have a pair of cheap matts (20$) and it has deeper ruts then the weathertech's but I still have problems with the water leaking onto the carpet..
