OP, I looked at mine today, and the edges lie under the plastic panel on the door, when the door is closed. Is it possible that yours curled ever so slightly and then started catching the door? As the door closes if the mat doesn't slot under it, the bottom of the door panel will push the mat up and bend it the way your passenger side looks.

Just received a new pair of mats from Amazon and they don't fit right out of the box.. the part along the door jam doesn't sit flush and won't let the door close properly. I'll try to hold it down while closing the door and see is it takes form over night.

After more than a year I have not yet replaced my WT floor liners...sadly.
Sides still curved up like a mofo
Ended up just saying screw it and chopping off about an inch of the sides. door no longer hits it when closing, but the POS still curls. I just live with it
I don't have very many people going in through my passenger side beside my old lady so she's used to it by now

They're simply a pain. People are taking out good floor mats and making their interiors look like old fashioned work trucks. Remember how work truck (W/T) models of Chevys and that had vinyl floors instead of carpet?

I have weathertech's in my T4R (came with it) and can't wait to rip them out and go back with stock carpet ones.

I live in Oregon where it rains a lot so I thought vinyl would be the better choice, just spray them off and put them back in but nope, I'll be getting rid of the butt ugly things as soon as I can.

Man I wish I could remember a post I saw a few weeks ago in the "what have you done to your 2nd Gen" thread about a guy who bought these really well fitting floor matts.
They fit so nice and they were about the same price as husky liners
If I find them I'll post in this thread

My WT's are fantastic up front....it's the back one that is curling up on the edges....watching my kids getting in and out is leading me to believe that their shoe is catching and causing the curl...no biggie IMO.....I will say that the rear WT mat is rather cumbersome, wish it was a two piece design like the fronts for easier removal

Mine are doing the same thing. Even though I was a big fan of WT in the beginning, never buying them again. The sets in both my Tacoma and Taho have curled and lost shape. The full set for the Tahoe was $500 and the damn things have curled up like tortilla chips and don't stay in place. For the price you pay, this should not happen!

Debating on trimming like you, or scrapping them and trying another brand. At any rate, very disappointed with WT.

I ran the Weathertechs in my 2012 and 2015. I got tired of the poor fit so I switched to the Aries brand. Fit, finish and appearance is far superior to the Weathertechs IMHO
