I am sure the need to mill new molding dies. I am sure those are not cheap. Then they will build up an inventory so it is not back logged.

I would think they would make a truck a priority over the cars? because someone in a truck is more likely to be off road in the mud.

Not sure what your choosing, but I'm able to go right from their main page www.huskyliners.com, choose my vehicle (2012 Toyota Tacoma), then choose Double Cab. This brings me to the correct liners and when I hit buy, it goes into the cart.

At one point I remember reading you had to order the Husky Liner 2012 fronts and 2011 rears. The fronts are the only ones that changed.

Just got off the phone with a rep that says as of 1/16 that they are still about 12 weeks out. I would really like to buy a set of these but not sure I want to wait all winter in Idaho before I put all weather mats in the new ride, nor do I feel like purchasing 2 sets of mats in a year. Maybe I'm just cheap. Boo to weathertech even though they make such a good product it sure seems they are loosing a lot of business.

Having owed Weathertechs in my last car (and current Rav4). The husky liners I picked up for my 2012 are every bit as good -- and, most importantly, available now!

OK I'm tired of waiting for weathertechs (even though I love them). Whats the best place to get Husky liners from? Looks like they are more expensive direct from their site...

Called them two weeks ago and they said 12 weeks wait. But Benz called them yesterday and they said 12 weeks, they should have said 10, right...???

Are they really working on this or it is always 12 weeks so everybody waits and nobody buys the competitors mats?

If it is just the anchor holes order the 2011 mats then. I don't even use the damn anchors. The mat is fit so well it never moves anywhere.

Those of you who may have purchased the Husky Liners for your 2012, I'm assuming these don't have the retention clip holes. At least it doesn't show them on their site. Is that right?

I wonder if by using any type of floor mat that does not use the clips gives Toyota any leeway in any law suits that have to do with crashes people say have to do with the gas pedal? Thoughts by Jack Handy.

I had a floor mat on a 2010 GMC push the gas pedal for me once. Scared the $hiit out of me. For about as long as it toke me to reach down and move it.

A weathertech will NOT push your gas pedal. They are molded like liquid onto your floor boards.

I could tell by their photo's that they go way under so they would not be a problem.

I was talking about the 1" think one's from walmart that did not have any clips. It was just long enough to sit against the seat frame and have the gas pedal stick on the other side.

Thats the problem with the new Toyota weather mats. They are too short. All the crap on your shoe that touches the pedal falls down to the carpet.

I still think that whole pedal thing was a joke. One person had 2-3 sets of mats and had a problem and the rest where looking for easy money.

Interesting you guys are getting 12 week notices still. My buddy emailed like last week and they said it was bumped to about 3 weeks.

Just get the 2011s.. you're not going to need the anchors unless you roll your truck.

I have seen first hand how Husky liners are made, and Weathertech probably uses the same process. Husky liners are made through injection moulding with polyethylene. Husky develops a design and then places an order with a 3rd party manufacturer. Husky owns the moulds/dies while the manufcurer maintanes them. So something as seemingly simple as moving the anchor points on the mats would reailisticaly require machining new dies which takes time and money. Plus think of all the vehicles that had changes for the 2012 model year and you have a lot of new dies to machine.
