That is a very surprising response. Especially since there have been several successful GBs with them in the past. Doesn't make any sense really.

I agree, which is why I feel I might've been getting the runaround. If anyone does have any contacts within the company, or knows who I should be contacting (people that ran previous GB's for WeatherTech...?) because evidently emailing them or calling their wholesale dept is not the way to go...

Ok, I PM'd the guy that ran the old WeatherTech group buy. I got a hold of someone within the company, and here's the response:

So it seems like they would be open to another group buy, but not until next spring. I bet they get crazy busy this time of year, not only because of the holidays, but because it's winter :p.

I'm certainly not thrilled by this outcome, but at least we know there will be another at some point. I'm willing to hold out - if someone else wants to call Husky or some other company and arrange another group buy, by all means. Thanks guys!

Has anyone ever contacted Husky to discuss a group buy?

Honestly, the only reason I would go with WT is price. I guess I'll look up which is cheaper and go for it. Would love to be in on a GB but it doesn't look like WT is going to do one.

Im interested in any group buy we can get going with these. If weathertech doesnt want to then to each their own, but IMO they are losing money, because without a decent sized group buy I would never both with them, and wouldnt get enough info on them to even bother looking into them.

I'd be down for a group buy from WeatherTech. I have my husband's left-over factory mats to hold me over until spring.

2009 Access cab, front and back, in black.

Makes me wish I hadn't bought my husband's at retail. Yay for cheaper stuff!

    Guys,

WT said they are going to do another... just not until spring. It's their busy season right now (for obvious reasons, winter & xmas) and they need all their resources focused. Which basically means they can sell plenty at full price this time of year and don't want to bother with a group buy at this point - take it or leave it... if you guys hate them that much for this decision, look at Husky. Someone call 'em up.

I'm honestly willing to wait until spring, those who aren't I encourage you to call other companies.

Call Cabella's they resell WeatherTech floor liners...

there is no hate, Im just saying its not something I would be quick to buy unless its in a group buy. Business is business and I would do the same. But Im going to look at the others now

Not a problem, and I also understand. Hopefully Bendernut hears something back from Husky.

    Good luck guys.

If you guys don't mind me asking, what did you pay? Cabela's website and WT's website have identical pricing, and I can't seem to find the rear row on Cabela's site...

Do they still sell them for tacomas or are they out of stock. All you can choose from is a superduty or trail blazer

BOTTOM LINE IS:I NEED SOME MATS THAT FIT. Best price is important. keep me informed if this comes about. If the above is met then I am in if not I am out.

must fit 2011 Tacoma access cab TRD OFF ROAD front for sure and back optional.
