    I went with Husky liners. No need to trim. Perfect fit right out of the box. And they were less expensive.

    Bilstein 4600 shocks.
    Spoke with a vendor on a 2008 VW GTI, they had said the same thing. The vendor called WeatherTech, and the only reason they were saying no fit was because of the clutch pedal. Minor trimming, you're good to go.

    Trimmed mine (07 w/ WeatherTechs bought in 2010) almost identical to Ipunchwalls. Note: When the temps got into negative numbers I ended up trimming a little bit more. The mats got stiffer in the colder temps and didn't lay as flat. Went right back into place once the interior heated up, but something to consider.

    I bought the $99 front and back set...no trimming required front or back.
    no clutch interference. I like them a lot.
