image.jpg So I put BFG KO2 265-75-16's on my Taco and like many on here have posted my WeatherTech mud flaps rub. My solution was to carefully warm the area circled in the photo with a heat gun and bend it back away from the tire. You can do this with the mud flaps installed. Make sure you wear some gloves because you'll have to hold the hot mud flap away from the tire for about 3-4 minutes until it cools. The end result looks perfect and there's no more rubbing.image.jpg

Sgt2404 , How are the WeatherTech mud flaps working for you? I'm thinking of getting a set, but live in Minnesota where I get big ice chunks building up in the wheel wells. I haven't decided on buying a smooth set or ones with a few ridges on the side facing the wheel well.

I owned that truck for 4 years and put 90k miles on it. The mud flaps held up perfect and I never had a problem with them. There made out of a hard rubber type material and seem to do a pretty good job shedding the snow and ice buildup. I live in an area where get quite a bit of snow during the winter. I just traded that truck in on a new TRD Pro that came with factory mud flaps. I hope they work as good as the WeatherTechs. I guess I’ll find out this winter.
