My two cents on Weathertech mud guards for a 2016.

I recently went to my local Toyota dealer here in Ft. Lauderdale and took a few minutes to personally examine a set of OEM mud guards. After about 5 minutes of examining the $147.00 set of 4 mud guards I decided to take a chance and order the Weathertech mud guards at nearly half the price, $79.00 including shipping.

A few hours ago the FedEx guy delivered the Weathertechs. I happy to report, in my opinion, the Weathertechs are every bit as good as the OEMs. To me, the OEMs and Weathertechs look and feel identical in thickness, construction and materials. After a quick review of the install instructions I had all 4 mud guards on the truck in less than 20 minutes. A perfect fit!

I snapped a few pics of the packaging, mud guards and the truck before and after the install. Hope this helps anyone that is interested in making this purchase.

Hello, how did you handle the screw where the plug is located. Can you thread into it or did you have to pull it out? Had this truck a week and don't want to mess anything up. Thanks JD.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I see another member took care of that question.
