Did something change because they should mount the same all the way back to like 2005 or so correct?

Don't get me wrong I have floor liners from Weathertech and love em,
I just like the way the Huskys look FWIW.

And the website shows more of a bulge then the flap vs the ones I see here.

This is what I thought they'd look like: http://www.weathertech.com/mudflap-no-drill-digitalfit/

    Hmm,

So do the weather techs use all the same mounting holes/screws as the facory ones?

So with the 2015 being a duplicate of the 2014 pretty much, is it safe to assume the husky mud flaps for 2014's should fit the 2015's?

I would think anything at least 2012 and up...
That's when the front fascia changed.

Both @mAtTyG04 and myself just gave you two recommendations. Go Rokblokz. They offer more coverage, and wont drag on the ground like the stock, husky, and weathertech versions will. They are also more flexible and take up less room in the wheel well for larger tires. I tore my stock flaps up so I bought Rokblokz and they've been holding up great.

They make a direct fit for the 2nd generation, and a universal fit for the 1st generation.

Yes Husky mud flaps do fit, I had them on my 15 Sport Prerunner.

Question from me, I'm moving the Huskys to my SR5, where can I get the clear protective film that came with the Huskys?

    Thanks

I would contact husky and see if they will send you a set . It's worth a shot.

I have a 2013, I can't answer your question 100% for certain, but I think the cabs have stayed the same.

Make that 3. If you run flaps and want a product specifically designed to fit our trucks, these are the way to go:

Higher freeboard... catches more shite and prevents overspill.

    My 2 cents.

Exactly  I had the weathertech first and was disappointed with how the look, hardware, and craftsmenship. They don't follow the curvy lines of the truck. They look better for the 1st gen poverty tacoma. I'm glad I got rid of the weathertech's for the husky's  They curve with the lines of the body of the truck, better hardware, and better all around IMO craftsmenship.
