They also aid as a sunshade/side visor (if you will), for me any way. I'm in on this for a second set, lost my passenger side after 5 yrs this past Fall.

They help a lot in the heat too. I leave my windows cracked just a bit for the couple months that it's 100+ round here and helps just a bit from keeping if from being stifling as well as roasting hot. Might not sound like much but roasting without stifling is much preferred.

I'd put myself in the group buy interest list but I know better than that, I'm just going to order them asap as they go live on the site.

Yes, I know I have a lot of interest on these, but looks like none of the vendors I talk to want to do this.

I get similar answers like this:

    Copy/Paste:

"To be honest those rain guards and bug deflectors have a very high return rate so we dont even mess with those. They are so fragile that shipping always causes some sort of issue with breakage."

I thought that you had a vendor that was all set to go after Christmas traffic slowed up a bit.

I was at a truck accessories place Monday and they said the same thing. They said they could order them but didn't install them because they were easy to snap during installation. This dealer and another dealer both said to go with the stick on ones to avoid problems, scratching tint, binding motors and child safety sensor issues on some vehicles. They don't seem to like the in channel visor. I always had the stick on type and never had any problems. I know people have problems with both types and everything works smooth for others.

Yes, but after talking with his superiors for approval, that is the answer he received.

So is Weathertech not going to be producing these at all? I noticed that they are available for the 2016 4runner on their website but haven't been for the tacoma.
