And fwiw, you can make the trimming follow the original lines of the mat

 

Thats why I used a pair of tin snips to trim mine. Works great for trimming front mudflaps as well.

Oh, and OP, regardless of what everyone here is saying, they fit great if you trim around the clutch pedal a bit.

 

Yeah I had to do this too, no problems thereafter, love Weathertechs for the part of the country I live in with all the snow, slush, and mud I have to deal with.
