I mounted the amp unit to the side of the transmission tunnel. Basically just to the right of my leg when my foot is on the gas pedal. doesnt touch and its a nice place because you can tuck wires for a clean install. Mounted the bracket with screws, and then the amp snaps in it. I ran the interior antenna up the A pillar and came out with it in the overhead console...which gets good reception. I tried a second antenna spot which is just behind the ram phone mount I have on the vent...again, the closer that internal antenna is to your phone- the better. touching it is even fine. After realizing my phone is in that cradle 99% of the time, thats the spot I am sticking with and I will pull the old location.

Mine just goes under the seat. Cables are just long enough.

I put the inside antenna right next to the crawl control know overhead.

Outside antenna on the roof rack with RAM mounts so it can be adjusted or flipped down when not needed

I have a few flat mount DIY'd to fit a couple antennas. Use angle aluminum and some flat sheet metal. All held together with 1/4" hardware since that's the Prinsu standard.

Really looking into the WeBoost option as well for offroad Utah use where signal is slim. But I'm running out of antenna room that doesnt cause interference!

    you could
Consider the OTR antenna at full
Height mounted to a rear tailgate mount like Rago and others make. It clears the roofline by about a foot that way

I thought about it, but thats a high traffic spot between extinguisher, bike racks, tailgate pads, etc.

If you get the new Drive Reach model, you can get the OTR antenna and cable to substitute. I listed the links a few replies up. Make sure you get the SMB adapter too to fit the newer amplifier connection type, its a plug in version instead of a threaded version (which I hate)

I routed it along the rack channel, through a pre drilled hole, down the left winshield molding. Then behind the left hood hinge, into the engine bay, then through the rubber grommet into the cab by the kick panel.

I was just short on the antenna length running from the rear driver tail light, ordered the extension to final fit. Also, noticed on the first trip out with the weboost not even turned on having bad cb reception with other trucks on the trip. Doesn’t make sense but I temp removed the antenna and the convoy said they can hear me clear.. Will be looking to remount the antenna on the rack over the cab.

Thanks Chux, the antenna attached to the headliner via velcro? some sort of adhesive?
