I have it on the 1st floor (2 floor house); kind of center of the house. My 2nd floor/basement stairs come up the middle, so it was a convenient and practical place to install it.

I noticed that WeBoost is running a $50 off sale on their website for Father’s Day, if anyone is in need of stuff and/or things.

Figured this might be a helpful place to share the info.

Preparing to install Drive Reach RV and wondered if anyone is running Weboost's "overland mount"? If so, whats the ± verdict?

I’m about to buy the WeBoost for my Tacoma but I’m torn between the drive reach overland and the normal drive reach.

Does the model that is $550 that comes with the tall antenna really do anything better than the magnetic antenna version that’s $500?

I don’t need the big mast antenna on my truck for cool points and the magnetic one would be way easier for me to mount. However, I do cross country trips and go out to places like Moab so I would like to get the strongest antenna.

The website rates the Drive Reach and the Drive Reach overland both as “farthest from tower” so is there really any difference?

    Thanks for any input.

I have heard/read that the magnetic antenna is not as good. There was some dude with a Tundra on Youtube that tested them both and said that he got WAY better results with the big antenna.

Finished installing Weboost Drive Reach RV + Overland Mount and custom bracket yesterday. Excited to test it out in the mountains soon!

Looks like a sturdy way to mount it. What path did you go to route the cable into the cab?

Thanks! We'll see how it holds with the mast deployed at highway speeds, but it feels stout!

I fed the coax down the rain gutter (under the Prinsu mounts), wedged along the windshield, and through the passenger side firewall (used the big gray nipple grommet access point). Excess wires and receiver are hidden under passenger seat and interior antenna is hidden under the dash.

I'll have to trial the position of the antenna for best performance and will adjust accordingly.

I thought it might be helpful to post this here in case anyone needs it for reference while out on the road/trail and doesn’t have their manual:

I like that!!! It's about time they came up with a solid mount. You should be just fine at highway speeds. I had mine on the spring and it barely swayed going 75-80mph.

Thanks! Just hoping the lateral force doesn't back out the vertically mounted bolts. That said, the action on Weboost's mount is really smooth and solid when locked. It's a great product from my perspective and much cleaner than the Rhino rack aerial bracket (second choice).

I installed the WeBoost Drive Reach earlier this week on my truck. It works great and I’m really happy with the purchase.

Pardon all the dog hair in the carpet, I spend alot of time on the road with the pups.

I purchased the version with the magnetic antenna, not the overland version. The external wire is routed into the rear passenger door and behind the rear seats, then under the floor mat. The box is mounted under the front passenger seat, I removed the side panel to install it in front of the rear-facing vents.

The internal antenna is mounted next to the sunglasses holder on the roof. The cord is routed from under the passenger seat, under the floor mat, up the A pillar liner and behind the headrest.

i have the older model that came with a solid mount.
needed a folding one that could handle the extended pole height, went with this
    https://www.amazon.com/DITKOK-Mounting-Crossbars-Platforms-Antennas/dp/B0BRY17SBM/

works great fully extended off road, i bring it down to 40 degrees on the road so i can get through drive thru windows.
