Yep I'm so stoked on the Drifter! Trying to decide on the different window options (I chose glass windoors) is really tough. I'm hoping the euro style window is an option before my build so I can see it.

Not a wedge...but reminds me of the Ovrlnd Camper but hard sided.

Also they claim to be the “first hard sided pop up camper out there”

I guess they have never heard of Alaskan Campers...

FWC won’t get water coming in if it’s wet and windy as you open it..

I’ve been following them on IG for quite a while. Interesting camper. Definitely one of a kind.

    Are you referring to FWC?
If so I wouldn't say they are one of a kind. There are several companies making popup hardside campers.

FWC isn’t a hard sided pop up camper, it’s just a pop up camper.

Alaskan Campers are hard sided pop up campers. Super weird, also very heavy.

Lead time is reasonable. Full size is an available option. Did I mention "barn doors"? :D Would be nice to have vented windows for the hard sided fold-up/down sides (maybe they're an option, dunno).

And, for those of us that want/need to use our trucks for work, hauling, etc., in between camp outings, a FWC isn't the platform.

Lastly, although I'd like solution I eventually opt for, it would be nice if it was...hmmm say a grand or so...but the reality, despite guberment saying otherwise, inflation has been alive and thriving the past <you name the time period> and it costs what it costs. Then there's the tariffs that have jacked prices...ok I'm getting close to a slippery slope :D It's only expensive if the identical product can be procured for less...

I disagree. The FWC is probably the best for those that need to haul things between camping trips. When I had mine I only loaded it onto the truck for trips. That meant the rest of the time the truck bed was empty.

I reckon it depends on what type of work and where. My tools & supplies need to be protected from weather...and stealing hands.
