    thats the plan. When we bought the house the grass was mediocre at best and once the first summer hit everything they laid down died within a week so I shut down the sprinklers and havent turned them back on since. Got the sprinklers all fixed up last weekend.

    Got everything raked up and the top soil a little broken up in the front and back today. threw down a good all around seed and a water retaining fertilizer, gunna let that take a little then drop a little manure down with a heavier winter rye blend. First time I've ever done any yard work besides the basic mow and trim shit so we will see how this goes. Ground was pretty dry so Ive been soaking it for about a week leading up to this.

    Just make sure to keep it good and wet. I just did mine a few weeks ago and I watered 4 times a day for 3 minutes. Lawn came up so fast and looks awesome. I had to put snow fence up to keep the dogs out.

    I was planning on doing the exact same thing. Our back grass is almost exactly like yours, about 15x25 and surrounded by gravel. I'm just waiting on a muddy-ass Brody to come bolting inside and straight to the couch.
