Weekly Photography Challenge Thread (see first post rules and then the poll at top before entering)

Well I'm not a professional photographer.. My sister and dad are. Both have galleries and sell photos.. I feel like when I take a picture with Instagram and put a filter on it, it's like mocking what someone took years to learn.. I love taking pictures and it's super handy on the phone. My wife thinks I'm an Asian tourist. Haha

Just got home from taking a bunch of shots. Going to doctor them up a little and see what I got. Not holding my breath this week for something remotely cool though.

 

Im hoping for better weather tomorrow..i have an idea finally..hope it turns out..

I bet if you looked at the the road a bit different..you'd see it could have been perfect for this..

 

Does the trail count as a road, if it doesn't look like a road? haha

 

Long as its for a vehicle with 4 wheels..yes it counts.

can't be a horse trail/bike trail/hiking/single track type road.

 

Well I got my truck down it and it is technically legal haha Very little of Shelley looks like a road/trail really. It is almost maze like and can be hard to tell if you are still on the path sometimes. haha

 

Well..we need to know its a road..haha if you can't tell..then how will TJ who is judging this week?

 

Because I said it was haha I don' even know if I will post one. How long does Marc have to get one up? He took the most pics today and probably has the good ones.

 

Marc has already submitted a photo but everyone has till Sunday night.

Marc probably won't post any photos from the trip till tomorrow I'd guess

 

Yeah, he is probably just getting home about now I would guess and I didn't know he already submitted one... Oh wait it was the snow drifts huh? haha

 

The snow tracks yea. And he left to come home already? Didn't stay till Sunday?

 

Yeah. Bob didn't want to get in late Sunday night so he left today. I don't know if Marc and/or his wife was wheeled out already or if they had things to do tomorrow or if they just left because Bob was leaving too. haha

 

Oh dang. Well then he still has a 4-6 hour drive to get home yea?

 

Cool thread. We'll see if I can come up with anything on my phone.. lol

 

My contribution.

 

Not sure how many hours, but we parted ways about 4 hours ago. They did stop in IF to get food though. Bob and I stopped in Poky and got food and then he continued on his way.
