    Dangit. I grilled some pieces of fresh salmon fillets last night to perfection, a thing of beauty to look at and to taste, and I was more concerned about devouring as much as I could that I didn’t even think to snap any pictures. :facepalm:

    Were you on smoke setting the whole time? If yes that’s a pretty normal. When I’m cooking salmon I put it on smoke setting for first 5-10 mins depending on the size of the fillet, and then bring up the temp to finish cooking. If that is the max temp check you fire pot to make sure it’s not full of ash.
