Yeah, I tried to dl gimp, not working. Canon has their software. Its not great, that's for sure. I have put a few together from tonight, but you can see the stitches in the one with the better scenery. I did a few 360s, they are ok. Not sure why the stitches are so visible, maybe other than crappy stitching software. I don't know. I may give it another go tomorrow. Or just crop the top and bottom of a photo at 10. haha jk. I need to resize them too, the one I like the best from the evening is 70.7mb. hahahaha

No, there might be a plugin for it, but I haven't looked that much.

I'll search for some plugins tomorrow, I would think there would have to be one.

What is the canon stitcher program you all are raving so hard about? :p
I have the "Panorama Maker 5" program that I've used most recently (haven't used it in a while, though) and I thought it worked great! Previously I used the "Zoombrowser EX" stitching command and it was pretty much crap. Veeerrry obvious seams, but I was very impressed with the panorama maker 5 when I finally tried it out. I'll have to give it a go in a moment or tomorrow, depends on how tired I get after downloading my photos from today.

Haha, yeah the scenery around this place is pretty awesome. Kevin, I don't know who was raving about it, but I think its crap. Maybe I'll check out that panorama maker.

Haha, oops, forgot to switch on the sarcasm font. :p
It sounds like the canon one and the panorama maker one that I have are two different programs, right? I'm curious because I'm pretty sure my panorama maker came with my camera body, but it's from a company called ArcSoft, not Canon :notsure:

My submission. The stitch isn't great. If I am going to do more of these definitely going to look into better software, probably going to end up with PS anyway. This is 21 images. 360*.

Might as well! Hopefully works better I use a different one but it looks good.

The one Marc uses seems to work awesome. Bob uses it too. I can never remember what it is called. He posted a link to it as well and it is also free for windows user as I know you have.

Only if you can turn it on and off for the months you need the program.
It's a good deal if you save up your shots and spend a month editing, then can cancel and reactivate it in 3-6 months.

But $10/month is kinda' dumb when Essentials is $60 and does everything most people need.

If you NEED all of the functionality of CS6, then ya... $10/mo is better than $700 and you will stay current, but few really need more than the Essentials/Lightroom combination, which is a year for the break even if you get them on sale.

But all I saw on Adorama or B&H was a $300 pack with a 1 year subscription to "Creative Cloud"
    Where's the CS6 for $10/mo deal?

Thanks Marc, it is great stuff and the price is right :D

Did a few panos with a P&S camera years ago, but really wanted to do a vertical. Tried several of both and ended up with this:
