Yea man..i am an audio engineer..so...in a lot of ways i wish it was the old days. Recording industry was booming then and just done so much more musical and fun back then. Not so much now.

My first album we did CDs, Digital download...and Vinyl..holy crap the Vinyl sounds so much better.

Pete really like your picture, and also all the others too.. My first 8 track was Led Zeplelin II. Of course had to get The Who Quadrophenia but Quadraphonic sound never took off, we all still used vinyl at home and 8 track was for the vehicles.

My primary music is still classic rock and I require moving lots of air. Marc all my primary speakers are Polk Audio towers, they are perfect IMO, VERY nice. My sub I worked with a retired Velodyne engineer in Az. to make sure I got a more musical sub than LFE and it turned out perfectly. LOL Ryan I wanted to try tea candles in front of my sub but I didn't have any so tired a LL Bean emergency candle, no luck. When I was younger my parents always said turn that music down. Damn people still tell me that and it is hard to get the Denon amp up to reference level without someone complaining.

What I ended up with was weak but it is what it is. Tried several music videos and was shocked at how bad Emerson Lake and Palmer Knife Edge has deteriorated being analog, Jimi's videos didn't fare any better.

"Out on the road today I saw a dead head sticker on a Cadillac. A little voice Inside my head said, "Don't look back. You can never look back." I say Bullshit.

Ended up finding a video of Guns N Roses and after a lot of shots on the plasma got sort of what I was looking for. 2.5 secs exposure for happy trails and rock on.... Hey if you experienced the 70's you would understand LOL.

Dammit. I missed out on another one. I had a really great idea for this one too. I guess I'll take it and just add it to the photo thread instead.
