Pkjr, I just want to express my point of view that the food is one of the hardest topics to deal with because the feeling of the picture could be heavily modified by the personal taste or the time of the day. In the morning I'll see more attractive pictures of coffee with a dona that a burrito with juicy guacamole, I think I most feel like is repulsive for the morning but at lunch will appreciate more that image.
    Just my two cents...

Sort of a lull in fire academy this week as I don't have a test looming over my head this coming Monday, so with all my new-found free time, I found some time to get out and explore this evening.

    Enjoy!

Got this beautiful little migrant in my backyard yesterday! Luckily he hung around while I ran in to grab my camera.

Since I enjoy reading the feed back I will try to provide some as well.

David Great picture. I love how the sun appears to be the focal point but everything else is clear and gives the feel as if I was there. It reminds me of the excitement of being the first one at the boat ramp in the morning.

Monte Love the lightening! This is a picture that is on my bucket list to capture at some point. I wish the town was a little more defined or lightened up but I can only imagine getting a pic like this is challenging.

Marc Nice truck! Love the colors of the sky and terrain in this picture and it seems to make the truck stand out. I would really love to see a bit quicker shutter speed to freeze the tires more and zoomed out a little more. Did I mention the truck looks great?

Kevin Great subject and picture. I find myself capturing wildlife around my yard in the middle of the city. Its satisfying and challenging at the same. Great colors and shadows with the sun peaking through part of the leaves.

TJ The moon has been really cool this last week being out in the day time. Even my 3 year old son noticed yesterday the moon and sun were out together. The picture is fantastic and I think it really draws you into the moment. Love the dessert mountains contrasting with the sky.

Winner is David! Congrats to you and to everyone for the great pictures. Hoping more can participate this week. I look forward to the entries every week.

    Congrats david!

    Thanks for the feed back!

Shot was a bit tricky to balance the foreground with the Lightning. Ended up just weighing on the side of the lighting..the foreground isn't that cool anyways haha next time Id do it like my star shots and do a separate foreground shot to edit in

Hopefully get a pm from David for the new challenge. I know he is busy with fire school
