I had a good idea as well but it's just not lining up. Busy week, crap weather, we shall see. Still plenty of time. :D

I dont have anything specific for this week yet, but I like how open the theme is. Last week I was going to try to get a shot of a live turkey, but couldnt find a live turkey...

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I had some elaborate ideas, but I got lazy and the opportunity was there. Plus, the ornament is fitting for the season. :D

i update it every 3 photos so i don't have to go digging so far back. And so the pics are there ever page or so. Could start putting them in OP if you guys want. This way has just been easier thus far..

My thought was just post one collection on Sunday night, or have someone else post one collection if you're asleep at that point. I feel like it's not that hard to go back a few pages and click the multi-quote button for all of the submission posts, but if you like more frequent updates that's perfectly fine. You're already managing the whole thing so your opinion has a bit more weight to it than any one of ours'. It doesn't really affect me how often you post an update thingy, I just think it'll be a bit cleaner with less frequent updates. :)

    I like Hagen's idea a lot!

Have a mod or Bob (I can't remember if mods can add posts) add a post right after the OP for you and put the current pics in there. That will make it harder to miss pics and people can keep tabs on it as well in case you missed their pic or something.

They can post their pic and check back the next day and make sure it made it into the 2nd post and know they are in.

I like the rolling update better than hopping between page one and the last page to see updates and whatnot. I had no problem with the way it is. Why not just do it slightly less frequently, like once a day or something. It ain't broke, don't fix it, imo.

    I think that's a good compromise.

Still haven't gotten anything blue. Except my toes. When I left the house it was nice so I wore my running shoes (mesh) and walked home later in the cold and on ice. That was dumb ha

Saw a bummed out person too but felt bad taking a picture of someone who is sad without having the time to spend asking if they needed anything and I was in a hurry ha

Here is my entry. I went back and forth between two I took this week at the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha. I personally liked my other one more but felt this one embodied "blue" a bit better.

I give you, the Blue Sentinels:

Very cool ^ Edit: Said "very cool" before I saw Gages post!!!!

Messing with the matte look... I think (submitting) this is my photo for this week. I'll be out of town the rest of this week (thru sunday) for work and will have my cam with but I'd hate to be in a bind an not submit anything cuz we got too busy. Either way I like this shot :) Not my best but it's blue... Loved that my partner in crime was game!

Gotta mix it up! Chicks don't always make the shot better but they certainly help make them come to life in the right setting imo. There were others but they were too much to keep the "blue" theme in focus
