Yea, the AF speed really only comes into play with anything action related. Then batteries you just have to have a few extras or an inverter in the truck to keep em charging. Pros outweigh the cons I think. My biggest issue is, the fact that I have so much invested into my Nikon set up, it would be tough to make the switch now. I would love to have a mirrorless that is durable to use during my fire season.

Yea but Chris also was part of the group of folks who were given them to use and give feedback on. A few of my buddies were in that same handful of people and explained how the process worked. Many of them just flipped em on eBay and stayed with their DSLR's but one did make the switch.

thats pretty funny. i definitely understand the need for a full size dslr but considering the technology in a new mirrorless camera is better than my nikon d3000 its gonna be an easy choice for me

@PcBuilder14 Here's your reminder for the contest. Think it up and make it happen. I came up with an idea this morning getting ready. Going to all be in the timing of the shot and seeing if I have…….I've said too much already. :D

I'm going to try and go epic.

It's comical, our last two in the same order directly related to my photography class, except I can't develop until the Monday after. Our assignment for this week was shutter speed. Played with a few things, waiting to see how they turn out, just forgot to use my digital for the challenge posted here. Yesterday would've been an epic chance to get some really cool photographs... but alas. I didn't have my camera.

Here's my entry -- 30" exposure of a bridge in a little town in the valley below where I live.

    Some really cool shit
Seems my graphics card is not compatible with LR6. Guess I'll be buying a new card. :( Wasn't able to develope my 'shot' the way I wanted. Heck, didn't really get the 'shot' I was looking for. For several I didn't realize I had bumped the main dial from 'Manual' so I missed a couple opportunities. Oh well. Live and learn.

Frozen in flight. Had a cool opportunity to shoot a trained hawk today.

Had a couple opportunities yesterday but was too busy with other things. We'll see what next even entails!
