Real good stuff this week. Going to be a tough one to judge.

 

No kidding. Have a busy schedule at work today. My pick will come this evening. Nice work, fellas.

 

NYC TIMES SQUARE

 

FlintHillBilly - I still can't put my finger on what this is. When you tell me, no doubt, I'll mumble some expletive, and say, "Oh yeah". Pretty Cool. I got a "D" in geometry, but I still like this shot. Capped with a ...... cap?

Tiny Tech - The acme of "a small part of your truck". I like the colors. And the blue in the background. I take it your truck is blue? I dunno.

justinmbowin - Wow. I don't know the right terminology for this shot. Soft, maybe. All the colors seem to blend into each other. Damn that truck is clean.

Beers - Silver and black. I really like the way the ridges run off into seeming infinity.

medic - Possible ad for Relentless Fabrication?

113tac - Another magazine ad possibility. The cool thing about most of these shots is that the images fad off into the blurry zone. Cool stuff.

SconnieHailer - I like that this is a busy photo. So much going on. I can even read the writing on the bolt head. With a big red '4'. Is this one of those 'Rule of Thirds' thing? Looking back, seems a couple folks went with the rule.

sladesdaddy - Damn, is this more stuff I need for my truck? Not sure how you got the lighting, I would have bleached out the whole thing.

Damn, eight entries for this novice to judge. That's rough.

I'm new to this whole thing but did the pic in pitch black darkness the flash just caught exactly what I wanted it to somehow

Ready for it..dun dun dun... It's just the headlight.

Slight crop and rotate a bit for the geometry. Too lazy to get the tripod out and really miss my 100mm.
Taken w/ with my EF70-200mm.

 

Acme - definition: The point at which something is at its best or most highly developed.

I asked for a small part of your truck. You did just that. Maybe a screw might have been smaller, or a split pin. But that's picking nits. Anyway, nice job.
