I do... Been a fire fighter for 10 years, also equipment/instructional specialist for the Fire School. There have been a few entries of mine taken while at work or around the fire house. Actually, I think except the small part of my truck, the last 3 were taken at work up at the fire school. Hence the tanker car being up close.

It's this type of photograph that drives me crazy. I have a long way to go to take this kind of shot. I wouldn't even know where to begin. Lighting is the first thing that I think of. I like every thing about this shot.

I like all the different things going on here. The water stepping down. The decaying bridge. The green trees in the distance through the right side opening. The rocks cascading down in the left side opening.

Two very different ideas. Winner is Spintly because it reminds me that I want to go fly fishing. Beers, that shot is amazing. Did I already say that?

This was a deceptively easy shot to do. My truck was parked outside when it started to rain. I was about two car lengths back from a street light that was ahead and to the right of the truck. The water drops showed up best when viewed looking in the direction of the light. This shot was taken from the left side of the truck, standing next to the mirror and is a view of the top of the left fender and part of the hood. I shot in aperture priority at f/4 and adjusted my exposure down -2/3. Having the shot backlit highlighted the water drops and gave some nice shadow transition with help from the ambient light of the other homes on the street.

One of the coolest things to me is seeing the Tacoma in the water. Enough was shown to know it is in there but still enough was left to the imagination to wonder just where the truck is and how it got there.
