Hi guys, I'm back! I finally got a new camera. I was having some trouble getting this picture right because of the angles of the fence and some weird overcasty lighting, but here ya go.

 

My 87 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model in it's element at the skatepark today.

 

I'm of that bike!

 

My pictures failed camera issues gonna keep me out of this one.

 

As a cyclist, or at least I once was, I really enjoy the photo. Always did like B & W shots, as well. Like the different textures in the rocks and fence. Those are really nice looking wheels. Did you build that bike? I've never had a one speed before. Does the rear free wheel or is it direct drive? No brakes should be a clue.



Leave it to the airplane freak to come up with this one. Beautiful. Colors. Clarity. Shadows. Antique planes are awesome. Just read David McCullough's, The Wright Brothers. Excellent read. Highly recommended.



Nice shot. A couple wheels in this one, as well, if you count the chain ring. Very clean crankset and chain. Love bicycles, as noted above.

Thank you Don. I have been traveling a lot lately and just happened to catch that shot of a Curtiss Jenny JN-4D at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. I shot many wheels this week. Thanks for the inspiration.

Now the fun will be to be able to judge this contest in a timely manner.

 

I did build the bike. I found the frame in a creek next to my old house, tore it apart, and polished it. It is a fixed gear bike, super fun to ride.

Yosemite backcountry yesterday

 

SF Bay looking North West towards Yerba Buena Island in the foreground, and the Golden Gate bridge in the background. SF City front under the Bay Bridge. Gotta figure out how to post a larger version.

Great pictures this week guys. It is funny that the first two were both silhouette images as I have been on a bit of a kick with those lately.

krap22: Like I said, I am liking silhouette images and I like how you used that to keep the blue hue throughout the image while using the sky and water.

Cuffs: Also a nice backlit shot. Clean and simple with the offset tree and the path running off to the left. Looks like a desolate place.

Don5352: I really like this panorama. It is almost like two images in one with a very urban setting on the left and then suddenly changes to a quiet open area on the right. You cannot go wrong with water and blue sky. I love coastal settings.

Skymaster: This is a funny one for how my eyes move across it. The Tacoma provides a balance of white that draws my eyes to the hood, over to AF1, then the blues pickup and have me looking from AF1 to the B-25. There is a balance that works with the eye with how the planes and truck line up and the clouds add some interest in the sky.

Overall, I have to go with the image that draws my eyes around. Winner: @Skymaster
