I think that this is all of the photos entered over the last two weeks.
There are some great photos here. This is making my decision very hard. Kudos to everyone for all their creative thoughts and hard work.

I am going to have to give this one to TBuzz. The photo has great clarity with the visibility of the growth rings and the details in the bark. It drew my eye right in. This is one of the little things that often get passed by without anyone noticing or giving it a second thought. Well done. Congrats!

Lol at mine. It was more of a joke/being pissed off at such a little Rock destroying my windshield than a real entry.

Congrats to TBuzz! Beavers are a real PITA around here and many other places, although the dog likes it. Sometimes he thinks he is a bever LOL.

Great challenge Gwen this is one that had me thinking hard, thank you for that.

I have a chip that has been riding on my windshield for a long time. Hold my breath that it stays a little thing ;-) Hope yours does too! Get some of those rock sliders from 4xinnovations, I did with expanded steel and zero offset with kickouts for the dog and life is good. You will forget about that chip. Well until every time you look out the windshield, fingers crossed for both of us.

That's not just a chip. If you look at it closely it's about 8 inches long. I heard something hit it going 35mph with no car in front of me. 30 minutes later I get back in my car and there's an 8 inch crack - no fixing that. By the next morning with the temperature drop, it spanned the entire windshield. 4 month old truck and already had to file a claim. $1k if it was out of pocket, but just $500 deductible.

Get your chip filled with that gunk stuff they have before it spreads!

As for the sliders 4xinnovations basic one's with a kickout is my plan. Buying some roll on pale pink bedliner to make my truck a little more chicky :p. Waiting on them to answer about their 5% tw discount since the old coupon expired at the end of the year. And there's someone in my city whose good about helping with the weld on part. Hopefully it won't cost me much, and that he has the time to help me/let me weld them on myself :D. Contemplating making the drive up to pick them up myself (5ish hours). Though it would cost about the same in fuel as shipping for sliders.

Bet money he would teach you while he welded them on. I almost had him do it for me and have done more than a few welds in my life. But pink?! All bets are off! :D There is the color thing and before, after, etc. He is good enough to give you good advice IMO.

Actually think pink would be kind of cool the more I think about it. Not so much for me though LOL.

Sorry to hear about the crack, that does suck. Ouch! Hope everything turns out well for you!

I would hope so. I will see when the time comes though.

I figure it would be low profile enough and kind of go well with the blue that it would be nice to have. All the chrome will be blacked out tho. Not sure if I'll make the toyota black or blue yet. I saw an FJ in my friends neighborhood with lime green sliders. It was just enough to make the truck stand out without being ugly. it's what gave me the idea.

i already had the windshield replaced on the 28th. The crack happened Christmas day of all times.

Are you sure we're not going for sunrises this time? :p

Denver area is under the clouds, getting snow. Its 30 degree light jacket weather up here, 10-15 degree freezing'ness down there.

I'm thinking I made a bad challenge suggestion. Being that it's pretty cold everywhere at night right now and the weather has been bad as well. If we should change it to something more available to people I have another idea. No problem forfeiting to PW as well.

Yep, It's cold. 11 degrees tonight. Sorry, my camera, nor my phone take night pictures, so twilight will have to do. Hemlock Lake.

Yesterday was first day it got above 0*F all week, but that is normal where you normally set the lowest temps during the winter in CONUS. Although it didn't bother Tyler and a few others that have been out in the below zero weather, even to the far North! I'm getting too old for that chit. We had a lot of ice mix week before last and didn't feel like playing hockey every place I went, get enough of that as it is. Did want to play and get a picture of town at night, still haven't done that yet. Great pictures everyone that did brave the cold and weather!
