awww man..... I was working so hard at getting a good shot for this week and thought I had one more day to try and perfect a nice movement shot. missed my chance.

Tried and tried, but could not get anything worthy of entering. New camera and just getting used to it. Maybe I will have better luck for next weeks challenge.

 

I got punked by the snow this week... Went downtown but forgot my camera.

 

Lightroom has a very good lens-distortion profile correction. It all depends on the angle of the shot, but any distortion that is due to lens design itself, and it can correct it.

 

I'll get this weeks photo's listed shortly for the winner.

 

Love this shot! Nearly the entire car is clear and the rest blurred, impressive.

Definitely counts! I have way too much light pollution here to capture star shots.

Nicely done! I can't quite make out which line this is? Does this train run regularly?

Yes you were but I usually do what you did by posting all the photo's so you have them all in one place. Been a busy day at work though so it's all good.

 

Thank you. I grabbed that shot at a car show in South Florida this week as the cars were driving in. It was a hand held panning shot, no image stabilization.

 

Damn! You certainly got it right.

 

After a long cold spell with the last two days at -28˚F it finally warmed up to a positive 1˚F today! Decided id take advantage of the warmer weather and get a shot for the challenge. This one was tough and i couldn't come up with much. While this shot isn't the image i had in mind as far as a "pattern" and it being pretty plain, I figure it will have too do!

 

I'd crop it tighter. Maybe landscape to where it's mainly the red. I see the potential in how cool this pattern could be.

 

Here's my entry, taken last night.

 

The pattern naturally made by this little goldfish plant was interesting. Each stem has alternating small leaves in the front and larger ones in the back.
