Just returned back from a week at Scout camp. Averaged 21k steps or so per day. This is the resulting TEXTURE on my four year old Redwing 1907 boots.

    Never enough
Finally got around to refurbishing a used prinsu rack I bought a couple months ago. Tried my hand at some spray on bed liner for some nice durable texture.

Did you use some strobes on this shot? Or just a black background? Love the lighting here.

Got this in my back yard a couple of weeks ago. Yes, that's my beautiful back yard. I think the best part is my 50 yard steel targets!

I've always wanted to capture lightning!

For the challenge though, the picture has to be taken since the time this week's challenge was announced. Which this week was Wed or Thurs.

Can I ask the details of how you captured this one?

Ok, I have to admit, I cheated a little. I was taking short videos because the lightning was almost constant. Then I would pause the video and do a screen shot.

Black backdrop in a cheap light box sold on Amazon for product photography. Used a Milwaukee M12 floodlight on top with a hand held disc diffuser. All stuff I had on hand. I don’t own strobes, yet...

Yeah, I've been quite happy with it, especially for a couple year old phone. LG G5 has 16mp and wide angle lens on it. Takes great pictures as you can see and you can throw it in full manual if you want. I've done some night time stuff with it before with long exposure.

My Sony Nex6 only has the 55-210 lens since my other one perished. And its only a 16mp as well so I haven't been overly worried about replacing the lens although I do want to get it up and running again for night time stuff.
