    So so many great pictures this week and it was very awesome seeing how each person saw texture. I wish I could have picked every photo as a winner!

    After taking a look at all the submissions and my family looking as well....

    Congrats @SC2SC ! I found your picture so interesting and the different forms of texture that all came from one shoe.

    Congrats @SC2SC! Thanks for the quick turnaround!

    Can you help clarify what you mean by foreground detail? Do you mean that there be something in the foreground? Or do you mean that it should be lit appropriately to see detail in the foreground image that is not a just a backlit dark object?

    The correct answer here is yes. Interpret the challenge as you will. Make the photo yours and don't worry about the details on this one. Create something that you as a photographer would like to present. My interpretation is a sunset photo with something in the foreground. That can be anything from a glass to a grassy field.

    When I judged a few weeks ago- soo many awesome photos that had foreground detail.

    This is what gave me the idea for “sunset with foreground detail.”

    Also- it is the first full week of Summer.
