Weekly Photography Challenge Thread (see first post rules and then the poll at top before entering)

I was at a remote beach from about noon till after sunset yesterday. Sunsets are relaxing, but when filtered thru forest fire smoke, the colors were amazing. Practically no processing and taken with a P&S.

 

What beach? The beaches always seemed to be deserted when i was out there other than Coos Bay.

I don’t know if the beach has a name. It’s south of Port Orford. A trail from the bluffs about 400 feet above the beach takes you down there. A week day after tourist season will almost always make it easy to find a deserted beach.

 

Raleigh, NC. We were right in the path but now the forecasts are changing. Still won't be a walk in the park this weekend.

I have family in Wilmington, NC who so far doesn't plan to evacuate. Wilmington looks like it will be ground zero for landfall.

 

I’m not sure I’d stick around for this one. At least it appears to be losing some wind speed.

Maui, Hawaii. If you can catch this cove at the right time when nobody else is around, it’s UNBELIEVABLY relaxing!! There’s also a lot of weddings that take place at this beach.... I’m sure you can tell why

 

Fuck TW file upload... I did some photoshop editing and it's not letting me upload the file from my computer... Tried sending to my phone and uploading through my phone, and it still won't upload... Going to try one more thing and if it doesn't work, I'm going to just have to take a screenshot of my image

Took another trip up to Mt Rainier this week, never gets old, saw this guy (Marmot) sitting on a rock just looking out enjoying the view, must of been relaxing
He was expressing many things, proud, loving where he is, and life is good!!

Even during the wind and the rain this weekend this pooch knows how to relax. Don't let her size fool you, she's demanding and always asks for her blanket in just the right spot on the couch. The 9lb weiner dog really runs the show around here. Cue all of the weiner jokes.
