Weekly Photography Challenge Thread (see first post rules and then the poll at top before entering)

I would also like to say that I am in no way, shape or form actually pissed that I haven't won anything. I am a naturally jovial/sarcastic dude, and that doesn't come across very well in written words. If I have come across as upset/a**holish/unwilling to learn, I am sorry.

I use this thread to learn and have fun, and if I get pissed at anyone; it's at myself because I see such amazing photos and I know I could have done better.

@Cal671, I hope you get paid to take pictures because, you take awesome photos. Especially ones for an automotive forum.

Thanks man I get paid here and there, but mainly do it for fun. The challenge I picked is not technical at all and cellphone friendly. its more of a timing thing really its the hour (shit really less than that) right before the sun rises or right after it sets so you can take two stabs at this in any given day to see what works for you.

 

And since im on time out this weeks heres a couple more i took for the last challenge

 

No kidding. I arrived in Jackson WY this afternoon and didn’t know where to start!
And it’s snowing!

Made the husband pose in the town square for the webcam screen shot.

 

I have a daughter that lives in Jackson; Makes it my favorite place to go, esp. the shoulder seasons. For the best pastries hit up Persephone, A block and a half east of where you took that screen shot on the same side of the street.

 

Remember film? Drop your 24/36 off at Costco, get them back and all are blurry, shit happens, thank the good lord for digital, snap away!!!

Hey, I recognize that spot. After you left I was only one there camping for 2 nights. See you made it to Valley of the Gods, did you go down Moki Dugway? I went to Lee's Ferry and then South Rim, it's like Disneyland there. On my way to Death Valley. It was nice meeting you out there.

 

I ended up going through Valley of the Gods and up Moki Dugway, then stayed on Cedar Mesa for a night. It was a pleasure to meet you also. Next time I’m out your way I’ll hit you up!
