Don't let that stop you. I submit crappy cell phone pics every week. You just have to be willing to participate, have fun, and learn.

I haven’t used a real camera since 2005!
I still have film canisters boxed up in the attic.
Cellphone is always with you and I just download and have them developed.

 

I had this hilarious image in my head of you putting your phone in the envelope at Walmart and sending it out for them to develop the pictures off your phone.

The good old days with field trips for photography class to museums downtown. From 7 am-7pm . We’d ditch the class, hop a bus to Wrigley ,watch 3 innings and head back ! My teacher said your photos are interesting but I thought the assignment was photos from the field trip. I explained they were. Yep, just a rebel!

Pentax from my B&W days back in high school days. Current DSLR used for most if my photos. Taken with cell phone.

 

Do any of you folks use the filters you attach to the lens? Pros vs cons if any? I really want to get a wide angle lens eventually and was wondering if anyone else used them.

 

ND filters for day time long exposures.
