My uncle had an old 1930s ford truck that he "was gonna fix up over time" in 1989. Sold it last month to make space in the garage. Oddly enough, it was in the exact shape he bought it in.

 

I think he just likes the look of it sitting there

 

It serves that purpose artfully well.

 

That's cool. There's an old 84-85 Chevy Silverado near Greenville GA that is rotting away. Can't find any information on it. On the same road about 10 miles away there's a 79 trans am on blocks at an abandoned house. I fear they will never see the road again.

 

That's a shame. It looks cool yes but he could fix it, drive it, and park it there every night. The paint is perfect.

Only thing I can find on the property is a elderly woman's name but she passed on years ago according to an obituary if its the same person. There is usually a cop clocking people nearby. Next time we ride thru I'm asking him if he knows who owns the property or if he knows anything about it. Being on blocks now, either the property owners took the wheels so the car would be hard to take or somebody stole the wheels. They weren't original so I can't imagine why somebody would want to steal rusted mag wheels.

if the hubby is still alive prob belongs to him. or its still in the family. Typically see those like that till they sell the property or the bank/county repo's it and it gets sent to the compactor...sad to see...
