Thanks! To be honest figured you would come along and give a positive ID for me so didn't dig too deep :anonymous:

First time seen a redtail this time of year here. Normally they are smart enough to migrate South for winter. Except over on the Mississippi I will occasional see a resident pair that hangs around through the winter there. See a lot more resident baldies anymore too. In 7-8 weeks will see hundreds of Eagles head North on the Mississippi. If I get my butt over there. Ice will just be breaking up then, but still mainly ice.

Reflections on water? Ha what is this water thing? Wait it has been a long time since someone had done a toilet bowl shot :p

    Entry!

    homesteadgraysbridge2.jpg

The Homestead-Grays bridge in Pittsburgh with the historic brick Steelworks smokestacks in the background. The blue light under the bridge is from The Waterfront shopping district, which is where the Carnegie steel foundry used to sit.

I happened to have my Canon T2i in the back of the Taco, and I was up early this morning so I decided to try some pre-dawn long exposure shots. :D

    A few.
Day 8 of 13 straight, of rope access instruction classes today. (3 classes total) On the bright side I’m teaching new guys how to work on rope!
But it doesn’t leave any time to get out with the camera. :pout: Turns out hypervigilance is exhausting, I’m whooped by the end of the day.
Looking forward to participating in the photo challenge soon.
