Haha thank you but if you saw the whole yard you'd change your tune. I've got more weed than Snoop Dog. That area is way better than 75% of it.

I bought it Friday, used it over the weekend and fell in love. Honda outdid themselves with this one.

I have a lawn service that usually does it, but every once in a while they get backlogged when we have a long week of rain and they wont come on Friday or Saturday in which case I'll bust it out to do it. The speed throttle is awesome for setting the correct walking behind speed.
And I use the mulch option, no issues.

There are sunrise and sunset and your interpretation of the challenge.
Also, sun filters for eclipses are available.

There's going to be some wicked awesome sunrise/sunsets later this week along the Gulf Coast and Southeast due to the Saharan Dust blowing over

Just stop it down to f22 or more.... How’s it going to hurt the lens?

There are numerous articles out there that will give you more detailed reasons of how shooting directly into the sun is bad. TL:DR is that it can burn your shutter/aperture mechanism. It can also affect and damage the sensor.

Not saying it can’t happen but who is going to take a long exposure of the sun? Stopped way down and a fast shutter speed at sunrise or sunset isn’t likely to burn out a sensor. Especially with a DSLR since the mirror blocks the sensor. (An eye in the viewfinder is a different story). I shoot mirrorless most of the time, so since there is nothing blocking the sensor, I guess it would be more likely to happen. So far, I guess I’ve been lucky.

    This.

My old Canon 70D had permanent sun spots that I had to edit out on nearly every photo I took afterwards despite efforts to limit it. I won't do that on my 80D unless the sun is directly blocked something for a silhouette, clouds or something. Just my preference.

Not sure. I'd have to dig through several years of archives to find something.
