    What haven’t I changed?
Thanks guys. I'm still waiting for my camera and lens to dry out after that. Snow was building up around the front element in the lens hood so I had to hurry.

I've had a photobucket account for a long time, but I'm just not big on "cloud" storage. I don't do Facebook either.

One turn-off for me in the past was the difficulty in downloading images displayed. A club I used to hang with, the guy who took the pictures used to pass out CD's of our parties and events.
He moved to Flickr (understandable, burn CD's for 30 people?) and told us that we could just download from there... but we could no longer get full rez, which sucked because a lot of the images were landscapes.

    Not always.

Imageshack was the worst with their pop-ups.

Need to have a pro account to enable full res downloads.

    IM SORRY

Only if uploader has pro account and enables original to be DLd. Idk if that's just enabled through the new system.

I've enjoyed all of the great photography here and saw a chance to get in on the game while I was out today. This is an iphone picture. :)

Hah, I hope my feeble attempt doesn't beat out St. Michael up there. Oh, and that's a tasty glass of St. Arnolds Weedwacker. :D

Yea and ever photo on Flickr can be viewed as original size. If they weren't on his account then he wasn't uploading full size. Not flickers fault. Al of mine are full size. Including my panoramas that are up to 22,000px wide. You go to the image on Flickr. Right click on it and boom. Pick your size.

    Try 500px

More professional. Flickr has become somewhat of a social media site.

    Not free

Flickr has unlimited bandwidth useabe and 1tb storage free and very little compression if any.

    Can't beat that.

I know, I use both. But flickr used to not be free... It was 300mb/ month and no one can see originals or download them unless you pay $25 a year for a pro account, which I do.

Now I pay $25/yr still and I get the full benefits of the new upgrade at a lower price.

I do the same. Check out 500px too though, even if you sign up for the free 10 uploads a month account like I have, some of the work on there is amazing. Stuff I've never seen on flickr.

Doesn't make sense for people like Ben and I who are into photography but still broke as shit haha we don't have a steady income...we spend way more a day then you do on average on just school so sadly...not an option for us.

    I'm sure it's a nice site though.
