    It is! The winters are too long but the Hudson Valley has the best bang for your buck season-wise. I do enjoy it in this area.

    Beautiful! We got 3-4 days of that and now all the leaves are being blown off by the storms. Even the leaves that are still green.

    This year has seemed prolonged. Usually it’s much faster but we keep getting some good chilly nights and warmer days so the colors are sticking around.

    I grew up in the Twin Tiers of NY and Pa. however grow up might be debatable. Had the 40th class reunion 4 years ago. In October, because of the colors. Didn't go because Oct. is grouse season and missed enough seasons over the years so wasn't going to miss another. Pretty sure I shot the last ruff in NY many years ago LOL. Still go back to see family although just not in October.

    Ya sure you betcha same in MinnieSoda. At the cabin for 10 more days with snow in the forecast every day until next Monday. 16° this morning when I got up but do see one day above freezing supposed to get up to 34° above zero!

    It is a black and white world here now did get some pictures today.

    Left the DSLR at home because picked up a S20 which is supposed to be so great. I am not impressed so far and regret leaving the real camera at home

    Yeah, man. Been busy. Was living in Guam/Palau for a couple years near the wife’s side of the family. Currently working in my Pilot’s License (CPL/CFII) so I have no time or money haha.

    I’ll see if I can get in on the next week’s challenge though! I have some nice Fall shots from a couple weeks ago but none since the challenge.


    Whoever wins make the next one a photo of a person!! Haha


    Miss y’all. Hope all is well. Keep on shooting and carry that camera EVERYWHERE! Only way to keep getting them shots is to have it on your hip all the time!
