I remember those days, only took 5¢ if you hit the coin return just right after you dropped the nickle in. The coin got flipped up and counted twice.

Thank you and following your lead. LOL. I found this on the way to "Johnsons Shut Ins" in southern Missouri to shoot some rapids/falls. I almost ran off the road when I saw it. That 64 you shot has some meaning to me as well. Very good friend had one back in the 70's. Loved that truck.
    Thanks again

That's a neat sign and a great picture. What's the story behind it?

    Little History:
At age 22, in 1840 Robert Edwin Dietz with his brother bought a small lamp and oil shop in Brooklyn, One of
their first products was a candle lantern! Courtesy of Google :)
Not sure how old this one is, but my Dad or Mom (being from NY) bought it for $1.75 which is written on the bottom of the lantern!

Entry. This is a collection of mid-century modern items my wife has collected. There is the Replogle Illuminated Globe from ~1953, the Stanley Thermos and aluminum lunch pail and the Westclox Big Ben Wind-up Alarm clock.
